Support during early active labor, pushing, birth, and immediate postpartum as well as 1 postpartum follow up visit. We are on call for you from 38 to 42 weeks. Accepts most insurances.
Overnight support is such a valuable investment in those early postpartum sleepless nights. We prioritize rest for everyone by creating a plan for the night together by supporting mom with each feeding buy either taking baby right after nursing or bottle feeding baby ourselves. Both to ensure mom and partner get to go right back to sleep. We will burp, diaper, swaddle, and watch over your baby throughout the night so you have the peace of mind to fully rest. We will also do light household tasks on request because who likes doing laundry and dishes? It is so important to us that this is a restful and rejuvenating time for you.
Jenna is a certified birth and postpartum doula who is also spinning babies trained. As a military wife she knows what it's like to not have support and is passionate about being that support person for others. While living in Colorado she discovered what a doula was and gained years of experience. After moving to South Carolina she realized that doula care was few and far between so she decided to bridge the gap and start her own agency to bring this important service to her area. When she isn't at a birth or caring for newborns you can find her homeschooling her 3 children, being outside with them, and caring for her livestock on her homestead.
“Jenna was fantastic! With very minimal instructions (due to exhaustion) she happily took over with our baby. She gave her a bath, fed her, and tended to her needs all night. She also was very nurturing and helpful to my wife who had her own unique needs.”
